My Experience

I have over 15 years experience working in psychological therapy services in the NHS. I currently work part-time with children, young people and families within an NHS Paediatric Psychology service as a Senior Clinical Psychologist. I specialise in the following areas: diabetes, endocrinology, rheumatology, neurology, Cleft lip & Palate, gastroenterology and general paediatrics.

Prior to working in paediatrics, I worked for many years in adult psychological therapy services working with a range of mild to severe presentations. I also provide staff support, consultation, and supervise assistant psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists and qualified psychologists. I am an honorary lecturer on the clinical psychology doctorate course in the East of England.

Whilst working within private practice over the years, I see clients across age groups with a range of presenting difficulties. I believe my blended experiences in both the private and public sector has enriched the bespoke therapies delivered to clients. I offer workshops to staff teams in organisations regarding mental health and well-being. In addition, I offer supervision to psychologists, and mentoring to psychologists in private practice.

I have vast clinical and academic experience working across different cultures and ethnicities. As such I take a culturally sensitive approach when working with clients.
